In this course, we introduce you to AKC's latest titling sport, focusing on teaching dogs the skills of holding items, retrieving them, and eventually retrieving them by hand even in the presence of distractions. We begin by laying the groundwork for your dog to learn how to hold objects reliably. Through progressive training methods, we guide you in shaping your dog's ability to retrieve items upon command. As your dog advances, we incorporate distractions into the training environment, ensuring they can maintain focus and complete the retrieve to hand task amidst various challenges.
