Jeni embarked on her dog training journey in 1982 with a mixed-breed dog and swiftly made her mark in competitive dog sports. Her enthusiasm for the field led her to participate in lure coursing, amateur whippet racing, and competitive obedience with whippets. Her dedication has been recognized with numerous titles, including Companion Dog (CD) titles on three whippets, a National Oval Race Champion title, and multiple Top 10 Final placements in year-end rankings.

Expanding her expertise, Jeni has also excelled with Labrador Retrievers. She has trained and competed with both her own dogs and those of fellow trainer Julie, achieving impressive results across various disciplines. Her notable accomplishments include:
