Kya Gresh

Kya's journey in dog training began at a young age. She entered the agility ring at nine years old with a Jack Russell Terrier and quickly fell in love with all dog sports. Her passion led her to excel in various activities, including conformation showing, lure coursing, rally, dock diving, herding and agility. Kya has had the pleasure of showing dogs from all seven groups, as well as some breeds under the Foundation Stock Service (FSS). Her initial conformation breeds were Collies and Chihuahuas, but she can now be found in the Great Dane and Ibizan Hound rings. However, her main breed is the Miniature American Shepherd, and she has successfully earned multiple Championships and Grand Championships with her owner-handled dogs. Outside of the dog world, Kya works at the ACRES Project, a local nonprofit, where she assists neurodivergent adults and school-aged children through Community-Based Assignments, job coaching, and social activities. She is also involved in fundraising, creating social media content, and taking on various other tasks!
